You are more than what you do!
Mental Health
Feeling mentally or physically unwell?
It's crucial to pause, reflect, and get support to understand your needs, set boundaries, let go of old patterns and realign with your true self.
We suffer mentally because we are complex beings, with minds that dwell on the past or the future, emotions, that we long to or try to avoid, mission-driven souls, and bodies that store all our experiences.
Life's challenges, specific events or chronic stress,
can overwhelm us, drain our energy and leave us feeling stuck.

It's important to get professional support rather than enduring it alone and hoping for something to change!
The earlier you take action the easier it is to bounce back and realign with your true self!
Mental Health in Sports
Sport-specific but also personal challenges can demand or overtax one's mental health and negatively influence athletes' well-being and performance.
Athletes can be very tough and endure a lot but when challenges exceed resources, it is more helpful to take a step back and get professional support than going on and pushing through!
It is important to know your worth as a human being, to recognize who you are and not only define yourself on what you do, on success or failure!
It is easy to fall into the trap of mixing up what you do and who you are, which can create an unhealthy dynamic and drain your mental health!
Physical health is not the same as mental health,
both need attention and care. Together they form the fundament for well-being and long-term success!

The myth of invulnerability
There is an outdated image/expectation in society that competitive athletes are mentally and physically invulnerable... of course, as a top athlete you regularly stand courageously on the starting line and are measured and compared in black and white. This does not mean that the associated challenges, expectations, possible stress and pressure do not sometimes exceed your resources, energy and motivation and that you suddenly feel overwhelmed, weak or disoriented.

If you're facing these challenges in your career of general life, let's connect to discuss how I can support you.
